Who else was missing their pedicures during lockdown? I know I was and that is why I created this! I’ve been using this 3 times a week for a months now and I LOVE IT! Introducing my first of many foot and hand care lines. Peppermint and Chamomile Foot scrub. This scrub is perfect for dry, achy and callused feet. Ingredients include:
Coconut oil – Anti-inflammatory, anti-fungal, and antibacterial. Deeply penetrates the skin adding moisture and soothing cracked dry feet.
Babassu Oil – Contains Lauric acid that has anti-bacterial and anti-fungal properties. Encourages healing and fights off infection.
Almond Oil – High in Emollients, this helps balance absorption of oils while removing excess water. Also antibacterial and loaded with Vitamin A to help with healing.
Vitamin E – Aids in healing and moisture absorption
Honey – Anti-microbial and contains loads of extra vitamins to nourish the skin.
Peppermint – Increases circulation, soothes muscles and relieves aches and pains
Chamomile Flower – Anti-Inflammatory, Anti-oxidant, and Anti-Septic. Soothes and protects.
Cornmeal and Sugar – Gentle exfoliant removes dead skin without damaging or tearing skin.
Directions: Soak feet for 10-15 minutes in warm water. You need very little of this just a half tsp amount on your fingers per foot. Massage the foot all over with the scrub, paying extra attention to calloused areas. Allow to sit for just a couple of minutes (or an hour. Who am I to judge?) and rinse well.
This works well on hands that are dry, cracked and heavily calloused as well. I’ve been using it on my knife hand which is heavily calloused in spots from cutting and chopping.
